If you're looking for a solution to the administration of your school, you can download a fully functional Evaluation Version of Class Control for a test drive. The Evaluation Version will allow you to fully define your school and enter up to 50 families with students that you can assign to class, collect payments, and run any and all of the reports. And the Evaluation Version is set up so that if you decide to purchase Class Control, I can give you some codes over the phone to release the 50-family limit and you can continue on with the information you've already entered. I also recommend that you make an appointment for a tour of the system to help you through the many options of the setup process. It's like everything else: it's easy when you know how. But dealing with the many option and combinations of the setup process can be confusing at first. The tour normally takes about two hours. And of course, there is no charge for the tour.

If you're an existing customer and would like to download the latest update to the version that you're using, you may do so here. But please understand that you must select the update to the version that you're licensed to use. That Version Number may be found by going to the Help Menu on the Class Control tool bar and selecting About Class Control for Windows. The Version Number is shown there as V.rr where V is the major Version and rr is the version release number. For example, if your version is Version 5.08, then your major version is 5 and .08 is the version release number. You could download the current Version 5 update with no problem. However, if you download and install the wrong Version, your system will cease to function and you'll need to call Vaughn Software Services for resolution.

Download Instructions (you may want to print this page):

1. Click on the appropriate Version.
2. When the File Download dialog window comes up, make a note of the File name,then click on the Save button.
3. When the Save As dialog window comes up, navigate to your Desktop, then click on the Save button.
4. After the download is complete, you may leave the website.
5. Go to your Desktop where you downloaded the file and double-click on the File name.
6. Follow the instructions given by the installation program.
